We are a SaaS Startup focusing on the agriculture industry. Our aim is to empower local veg box schemes and farms with software solutions that enable them to thrive, compete, and flourish.By streamlining operations and enhancing efficiency, we provide the tools necessary for them to bring fresh, locally grown food directly to customers tables.The RoleWe are looking for an experienced backend developer proficient in Supabase to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in architecting and maintaining the backend infrastructure for our application.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management, particularly with PostgreSQL and Supabase,and a proven track record of implementing backend logic and APIs for frontend applications.Tech StackEssential- Typescript- Supabase- PostgreSQL- NodeJS- JestDesirable- React- NextJS- GraphQL- Apollo- ESLintYou will be responsible for :- Writing well-designed, testable and efficient code.- Gathering and evaluating user feedback.- Working as a part of a dynamic team to deliver winning products.- Providing code documentation and other inputs to technical documents.- Supporting continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and new technologies and presenting these for architectural review.- Troubleshooting and debugging to optimise performance.Ideal ProfileExperienceSelf-Confidence and Initiative : Looking for candidates who demonstrate confidence in their abilities and take initiative in driving projects forward.You should be able to write project scopes, identify requirements, and propose solutions. This self-assurance is particularly valuable for us being a small team and individuals often need to take ownership of tasks and projects.Ability to Ask the Right Question s :Things may not always be crystal clear. Our ideal candidate possesses the ability to ask for insights and seek clarification on unclear requirements or technical details.He demonstrates his commitment to understanding the project thoroughly and ensuring that he she delivers high-quality work that aligns with the companys objectives.Previous SaaS Development Experience : Ideally you have worked on similar projects to ours, in the SaaS domain. Understanding the challenges and requirements specific to building scalable, cloud-based solutions.This can be at a startup or agency.- Experience with Agile Scrum : Ideal candidate has experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.- Good Communication Skills : Effective communication is essential, especially since our team is small and collaboration is key.You should be able to articulate ideas clearly, provide feedback, and collaborate with other team members in English.Additional Qualities- Passion for Learning : Technology evolving rapidly, especially in the startup world.
