Workplace Type:  Onsite   Newmont Peru SRL was founded in 1983 as an exploration mining company whose main objective is obtain new gold reserves.Headquartered in Lima, Peru this is the home base for Regional Operations.Our work culture embraces diversity, engages employees, fosters innovation, rewards high performance and develops great leaders.We offer an unparalleled blend of opportunities and career satisfaction with all the benefits you would expect from a global company.This combined with our growth opportunities, makes Newmont great company to work.People: Our goal is to maximize the competitive advantage we realize through our people.Health & Safety : Our goal is to achieve zero harm.Operational Excellence: Our goal is to create a culture of continuous improvement.Growth: Our goal is to deliver profitable production gains.Sustainability and External Relations: Our goal is to gain access to land, resources, approvals and capital About this role Lead and manages all Newmont Security elements in Peru which includes Yanacocha mine, out of the fence facilities, exploration sites and projects within Peru in accordance with the policies and procedures established by the company and with the Regional and Corporate Security standards and guidelines.Manages emergency response activities for Peru.Apply the best industrial Security practices for the protection of the Company personnel, dependents, assets and property In this role you will     Manage, organize, and maintain the Security protocols at the mine, project and exploration sites in Peru.Ensure adequate staffing at all locations.Manage, organize, and maintain Security protection for the companys VIP´s, executive staff on travel to and from the place of operations.Manage, organize, and maintain all security elements of critical production processes including production, sampling, storage and shipment.Manage, organize, and maintain the Security requirement of hazardous and explosive storage areas.Develop, manage, and maintain Security and Emergency response plans, programs and SOP´s related to the safety and protection of people, processes, equipment, assets and property of the company.Manage, organize, and maintain the Security Systems, including access control, technical security elements such as alarm systems, cameras, monitoring equipment, electronic Security and site-specific security policies and procedures in accordance with Regional and Corporate standards and guidelines.Manage, organize and maintain the Security Intelligence and Information system, and coordinate with the Joint Tasking and Coordination Group Peru through the Regional Security Director.Manage, organize, and maintain the effort to establish information networks essential to Peru Security operations.Manage and provides information to Newmont on Threat and Risk assessments and Security vulnerability assessments for Peru.Coordinate closely with Sustainability and Human Resources on issues related to Security conditions that impact communities and  or employees.Maintain permanent coordination with Newmont Peru Managers and Superintendents regarding issues related to security.Manage security related to Peru contractor activities.Conduct internal and external security investigations and background checks on designated job candidates as well as recurrent \"lifestyle\" investigations on critical staff.In coordination with the Regional Director of Security, evaluate and determine Serious Security Offenses.Coordinate and liaison with the National Police, Military and Government entities issues regarding security conditions, support and resources.Keep emergency Security plans constantly up-to-date and tested.Know and comply with the MYSRL Internal Regulation related to Safety and Occupational Health issued pursuant to Law 29783, SD.024-2016-EM; as well as the regulations related to Safety, Integral Hygiene and Environment contained in the MYSRL Internal Work Regulations and Code of Ethics and Conduct, the MYSRL Loss Prevention Manual, the Internal ProcedureRule Manual in the work area and the Loss Prevention activities scheduled for hisher department.Know and demonstrate commitment and compliance, within the limits of hisher control and when applicable to hisher activities, with the MYSRL Declaration on Environmental Commitments, the MYSRL environmental procedures and the responsibilities assigned and scheduled for hisher department.Demonstrate social sensitivity, commitment and compliance with the Yanacocha Social Responsibility policy; maintain a socially responsible behavior with the Community and the Company.Know and comply with the Internal Work Regulation and Code of Ethics and Conduct of MYSRL; and promote the Inclusion and Diversity culture programs.The above responsibilities are the main responsibilities of the position.The position also develops other activities that are not included in this document and the immediate supervisor is responsible for informing such activities.Your training, skills and experience checklist   Knowledge and experience Education: Bachelor´s Degree, Profession: preferred Military or Police.13 or more years on Security including 2 years in private Security;
