Working under the lead geologist for the Project technical work program, is responsible for execution of fieldwork to improve the technical basis and identification of alternative development options for the project in 2024. Key Duties & Responsibilities Assist in the design and execution of field sampling and laboratory work programs for geometallurgical, geotechnical and geochemical characterization. Assistance in compilation, and organization of historic project data including geological and geotechnical logging, geochemical analyses, drill core and RC chip photographs, and drillhole metadata.Oversight of data entry contractors, relogging drill core and RC chips, oversightsupervision of contractors carrying out geological modeling.Participation in weekly and quarterly reporting, Analysis and interpretation of geological data including lithology, alteration and mineralization logging, assay, bulk density, geochemistry and bulk mineralogySupport in execution of an assay QAQC studyQualifications, skills & requirements Bachelors degree in geology, earth science.Over 10 years experience in mine operations and project geology. Experience using Leapfrog Geo or other geological modelling software, required.Experience with Drilling, sampling, drill core and RC chip logging, Experience with database management and QAQCExperience with geological modelling and project management in base metal and precious metal environments.
