LHRAmericas recruit people from around the world to work in SaudiArabia. **Who are we looking for?***: We are looking for aLead Civil Structural Engineer who will be responsible for doingCivil Structural design which includes steel and concrete structuresdesign and foundation design. He she shall review and verifyengineering design on assigned projects to ensure safe, high quality,fit for purpose design. He she shall provide a support forconsultancy services and studies to our client Affiliates. As a lead,the engineer shall ensure civil structural design is aligned withall disciplines, executing the work within budget and on schedule byleading, motivating and managing a team of engineers designers andhelp in training and developing youngerengineers. **Qualifications**: - University Degree inCivil Engineering; post-graduate degree in Structural Engineering ispreferable. - Typically 10-13 years experience in the design ofsteel, concrete structures buildings and foundation design inpetrochemical, fertilizer, refining, oil or gas industries. Typically,8-10 years should be with a recognized international FEEDEPCcontractor and last 2-3 years in a lead role. - Experience in thefollowing - Complete project cycle from basic engineering anddetailed engineering including construction of green brown fieldprojects - Resolving design issues during contruction oroperations - Leading Civil structural discipline specificallyrelated to Pre-FEED and FEED (up to 10000 man-hours) projects -Scheduling, man-hour control, progress monitoring, productivity andstatus reporting - Handling Projects with 3D model environment,involve in 3D model reviews - Project execution with workshare willbe an asset. - Site Construction experience will bepreferred - Supporting procurement process - Knowledge of latesttechnical developments in Civil Structural field - To becompetent in the following technical skills: - Internationaldesign codes i.e. ASCE AISC ACI IBC PIP AASHTO ASTM APIstandards. - Piperacks, Process structures Design - Vertical,Horizontal Equipment foundation design - Tank foundations and Dykesdesign - Design of RCC, steel framed buildings - Shallowfoundations, piled foundations - Geotechnical Investigation -Preparing Scope of work for Geotechnical investigation, Topographicalsurvey and underground scanning survey - Structural analysissoftware like STAAD Pro, STAAD Foundation, SAP 2000 or any otherindustry recognized software - Good knowledge about sitedevelopment, grading, roads and paving design - Good knowledgeabout various drainage systems such as sanitory, storm or potentiallycontaminated system - Preparation of Design calculationreports - Preparation of Basis of Design, project specificationsand standards - 3D based project execution & familiar with reviewsoftwares like Navisworks and SPR - Squad check and vendor drawingsreview - Preparation and checking of Material Take off To becompetent in the following functional skills: - Pre-FEED andFEED projects execution, change management - Involve ininterdisciplinary coordination such as squad checks, vendor drawingreviews - Develop man-hour estimate, deliverable list, planning andmonitoring progress & productivity - Staffing requirements andplanning of resources through the project cycle - Procurementsupport, Technical Bid evaluations - Preparing Scope of workdocument, ITB, design basis, specifications - Reviewing - FEED &EPC discipline documents and deliverables for industrial projects -Detail Engineering discipline documents and deliverables for Buildingand Infrastructure projects. - Key documents such as Geotechreport, Calculations, engineering models, 3D models - Keyskills: - Lead experience - Structural steel and concretedesign for industrial facilities - foundation design andgeotechnica Original job Lead Civil Structural Engineer posted on GrabJobs ©.
