You make the difference. - ** Your Role **:Sea Logistics Import Operational Care is responsible for managing the coordination of customer shipments by securing buy rates (when required) and capacity with qualified carrierspartners. Specifically, Sea Logistics Import Operational Care will be part of a team (Operational Care Centers) responsible for coordinating transport activities by: executing the necessary bookings with our partners, executing the requisite data entry, generating the required documentation, and liaising with our customer care specialists to ensure requirements are met. All of these activities are to be performed in compliance with rules and regulations governing sea transport and associated national protocols. - ** Your Responsibilities**: - Acknowledgment of file prepare shipment file for import shipment handling - Coordinate with customer care, haulers and carriers for the imports of shipment - Review and insure alignment of shipping instructions including to clarify any deviationsconflicts taking country regulations, export compliance and rate and routing information into consideration - Profit Maximization through efficient and accurate job costing (FSL) - Immediately report problems, operational disputes or discrepancies to supervisor, manager, divisional manager or branch manager - Monitor operational performance of carriers and other vendors and escalate create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered - Initiate and resolve any rate discrepancies - Work with Sales and Customer Care on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operations - Ensure Data Quality as requested **Your Skills and Experiences**: - Bachelors Degree in ADM, COMEX, IR or similar area - Relevant previous experience in Sea Logistics - Intermediate English **About Kuehne+Nagel*** With over 80,000 employees at some 1,300 locations in over 100 countries, the Kuehne+Nagel Group is one of the worlds leading logistics companies.
