Position Summary: Responsible for the Commercial performance for all Life Sciences portfolio in the South region, taking care of both direct sales and managing distributors. Will participate in strategic planning, set sales goals by product line, region and channels; Monitor sales results of the sales channels; train and empower the team to achieve established goals. LocationDivision Specific Information At our corporate offices in Chile How will you make an impact? (Objective) Leads South region countries to identify product andor registration gaps for both short and long-term opportunities. Facilitates the management of key business relationships with customers and distributors, and negotiates potential business opportunities for the company which are consistent with its long term objectives. Provide leadership and strategic direction that enables the commercial (sales, marketing, services, applications and customer support) organizations in the region to implement the tactical sales plan. Communicates the divisional goals and objectives to the commercial team so its clear how their responsibilities are connected to the success of the business. Responsible for harmonizing processes, sharing standard methodologies and driving alignments in the region Assures that the Commercial functions maintain and support company Quality Policy, Regulatory adherence and Compliance practices Ensures that products are sold in accordance with budgeted objectives to achieve sales and services volume and profitability in relation to preset goals. In conjunction with regional leadership and finance, sets pricing policies and approves all pricing exceptions, contract pricing, terms and adherence of pricing policies by sales organization, including monitoring of currency foreign exchange trends on revenue development. Monitors and reports regionally, monthly the status of: sales vs. target, expenses vs. target, sales incentives, bonus and promotion programs, CRM sales lead volume and sales funnel management, CAS and market trends. Establishes and maintains top level relationships with the management of existing and potential key customers and distributors across the region, including recommendations for modifications to existing distributor channel partners where appropriate. Own but work closely with Micro Biology Division legal and senior commercial leadership to lead and implement distribution contracting processes. Facilitates the integration of regional sales input into the development of new products, customer requirements and product development, operating as the Latin American Voice of the Customer. Works closely with Vice President, country leaders, distributor principals and divisional leadership teams to explore cross divisional commercial opportunities and new distribution growth opportunities. It would be advantageous to have experience in the IVD or diagnostics industry, working within a corporate matrix environment. Need previous track record of leading successful sales, marketing and customer support teams and management of distributors across South region, having formulated and successfully performed revenue growth distributor programs.
