Join Service Business Line Consumables Procurement for an exciting opportunity as Global Recycling Developer.
Product stewardship is a key part of FLSmidth s MissionZero strategy. A key deliverable in product stewardship is recycling of our parts to reduce the carbon footprint for FLSmidth and our customers. We have embarked on an ambitious journey for recycling but need a dedicated person to lead and align all tasks related to recycling.
It is a role with high exposure, and you will be working with many key stakeholders both external and internal in procurement, sustainability, manufacturing, logistics, finance, sales etc. stakeholders.
About The Department:
You will join our newly established Consumables Procurement team who is responsible for having the right internal and external supply chain in place to support our growth and profit targets. You will have a great opportunity impacting the future direction for our supply chain strategy for Consumables, and for this role in particular the sustainability of our parts.
Your Responsibilities
Coordinating recycling tasks and reporting direct to Program Manager Recycling. He is located at FLSmidth s head office in Denmark.

Global profile that must work closely with the SAMER (South America) regions departments.

Implementing model(s) for recycling and focus on SAMER pilot project(s).

This will involve working with and managing the consultancy selected for kickstarting the process. They have offices in England and Chile.

After pilot phase implement recycling as a general value adding offering to our customers in SAMER region, and other regions onforward.

Continuously drive the recycling agenda within FLSmidth at more products get added to the scope.

Participation in other sustainability and recycling tasks agreed with your manager.

What you bring
BABS

4 years of experience

Relevant knowledge or 2 of more of the following: • Recycling logistics (or at least logistics knowledge), Regulatory requirements (or at least the ability to understand legislation), Material knowledge of various steeliron grades, rubber, polyurethane, ceramics (steeliron the most important short term and at least the ability to learn fast), Sustainability agenda, e.g. carbon calculations, science based targets, circularity, ESG, LCA (or willing to learn fast).

Operational minded and hands-on logisticsproject coordinator skills.

Strong communication skills in English and Spanish both orally and writing

You have an entrepreneurial and pragmatic mindset.

Some travelling will be required for this position.

Can work singlehanded, work in teams and have excellent skills in closing small and big tasks and projects.
