What you will be doing at Evalueserve: Department: Data Analytics Job Title: Data Engineer Consultant Location: Chile Nature of Job: Indefinite contract Hybrid schedule Important responsibilities in this role will include: Self-drive to learn and develop new skills on leading platforms. Implement systems and processes for the movement, enhancement, integration, quality, and availability of both structured and unstructured data. Communicate directly with senior stakeholders on projects and show innovation and problem-solving skills in all elements of work. Work with global clients and project teams across geographies and travel to client locations as and when required. Collaborate and coordinate with others, including data architects, application engineers, data analysts, and others. Implement data solutions in the cloud or hybrid environments. Implement and maintain data models for the proper operation of cloud infrastructures. Ensure data integrity through rigorous attention to detail and validation, including adherence to all regulatory, privacy compliance, and security procedures. Recognize potential issues and risks during project implementation and suggest realistic mitigation strategies. Document process, codes, and models. Leadguidementor data engineer teams when needed. Skills were looking for: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Intermediate verbal and written communication skills in English. 5+ years of relevant experience working as a Data Engineer in On-prem or Cloud environments. Relevant experience in data solutions with any of these cloud service providers: GCP, Azure, AWS. Proficiency in Python programming language. Proficiency in SQL as a programming language. Good understanding of data warehouse. Proficiency in relational and dimensional data modeling. Proficiency in using any big data platform like DataBricks. Good understanding of data cloud architecture, building data pipelines (e.g. ETL, ELT), and orchestration. Business-facing experience. Experience translating business requirements to technical requirements. Ability to handle multiple tasks across projects and document analytical processes for future reference. Critical thinking abilities, including evaluating data and cross-checking through multiple iterations to confirm accuracy throughout analytical process; understanding and following logical processes to provide results.
