As SREs are responsible for overall system operation, we use a breadth of tools and approaches to solve a broad set of problems. Practices such as limiting time spent on operational work, proactive identification, and prevention of potential outages.\nWhat Youll Do\nWork as part of a small team providing internal support to our Engineering organization and enable others to be more productive in what they do. \n\nProvide scalable automation for deployment, testing, CICD, and solution support.. \n\nIdentify issues and propose solutions before they become problems. \n\nEmbrace the importance of secure systems and improve the security posture of the environment as well as remediate identified security vulnerabilities and ensure adherence to best practices and company standards. \n\nWrite technical documentation to capture processes, policies, and procedures. \n\nYou will support services prior to production via infrastructure design, software platform development, load testing, capacity planning and launch reviews \n\nYou will maintain services during deployment and in production by measuring and monitoring key performance and service level indicators including availability, latency, and overall system health \n\nYou will automate system scalability and continually work to improve system resiliency, performance and efficiency \n\nYou will practice sustainable incident response as part of an on-call rotation and through blameless postmortems \n\nMust Haves\n6+ years of experience developing andor administering software in Google Cloud Platform (GKE, Cloud SQL, PubSub, IAM, GCE, GCS, etc) \n\n5+ years of experience in the DevOpsSRE space including solid understanding of Linux and network administration, Infrastructure as Code experience withTerraform, and CICD (Jenkins) \n\n5+years of experience in containerization, Docker, and Kubernetes (GKE), Helm, and microservices \n\n5+ years of experience with observability solutions including the Datadog, PrometheusGrafana stack, etc. to monitor infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives. \n\n4+years of experience with Enterprise security best practices, implementation, and remediation \n\n3+ years of experience with observability solutions including the PrometheusGrafana stack \n\nExperience in monitoring infrastructure and application uptime and availability to ensure functional and performance objectives. \n\nExperience managing Infrastructure as code via tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation \n\nExtra Points For Any Of The Following:\nWorking knowledge of Golang, development methodologies. \n\nExperience with scaling and operating distributed data stores, databases, file systems, and microservices. \n\nGCP or K8s certifications. \n\nExperience with developing automated end-to-end QA testing, Selenium, API testing, or performance and capacity analysis \n\nYou have expertise designing, analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems. \n\nYou take a system problem-solving approach, coupled with strong communication skills and a sense of ownership and drive \n\nYou are passionate for automation with a desire to eliminate toil whenever possible. \n\nWho is Midigator?\nMidigator, an Equifax Company, helps fight chargebacks to allow merchants to prevent fraud and continue running their business.
