Press Tab to Move to Skip to Content Link Job Type: in part-time and full-time possible - permanent SMA South America is looking for an experienced Finance Manger to assume all responsibilities within Finance for its offices in Chile, Brazil and Mexico. The position will be based in our office in Santiago de Chile. The Finance Manager * will work in close conjunction with local management, our headquarters functions in Germany and the local accounting and tax service providers. He or she will act as a Business Partner * to the Managing Director * and his local management team with regards to all Finance related topics and to support the future business development. Your contribution to the "big picture" Responsible for all Finance related tasks and processes within the sub-region Latin America Ensuring that subsidiaries within the sub-region are aligned with all HQ Group reporting and taxation requirements as well as provisions and accruals and meet all month-end closing requirements (data quality, deadlines etc.) Steering of local accounting and tax service providers in liaison with SMA HQ functions Responsible for detailed review of and for providing all financial information and disclosures to consultants for drafting of annual financial statements Business Partner to the MD and his local management teams in regard of all Finance related topics and to support the future business development with analysis and forecasts Responsible for the local planning process in close cooperation with Corporate Controlling as well as analysis and monthly reporting to management of actuals vs budget and forecasts, explaining significant variances for P&L and Cash Flow Management of annual review and audits, providing all relevant support to external auditors Vat preparations and submissions as well as Company Provisional and Income Tax returns via efiling Administration of local bank accounts and maintaining relationship with key bank stakeholders by following the Corporate Treasury policies Custody and renewal of insurances in accordance with guidance from Corporate Insurance Your skills are needed Accounting Degree or equivalent Minimum 5 years experience in financial accounting or similar role International work including IFRS experience advantageous Financial accounting experience related to the Brazil local GAAP advantageous Fluent in English and Spanish, Portuguese experience advantageous Willing to travel internationally #bethechangeWe look forward to receiving your application.
