Create abetter tomorrow with us at Siemens Digital Industries! As the Regional FinanceManager for Digital Industries, you will be reporting to the Regional FinanceManager for Siemens South America. The successful candidate will ensure thatthe region operates within the financial procedures and policies ofSiemens. You will partner with the local and regional managersand their teams in ensuring that the P&L targets are met, and thatdocumentation and reports are produced and managed in a timely fashion. Youwill also have responsibility for ensuring standard financial andcommercial practices are operating across field services. You will be directlyimpacting the business financially through the insight offered by your analysisof performance, the efficiency of invoicing and the collection of debts, and theeffect of contractual liabilities that may be accepted based on your advice. Yourdaily work includes: Effectively manage the Digital Industries Countriesaccounts such that it meets or exceeds the targeted P&L and tohighlight and understand any vulnerabilities. Ensure budgets prepared accurately and to relevanttimescales, and that all operational management understand the targets set. Ensure ICFR requirements adhered to within FieldService. Maintain effective control of all administrationinvoicingto ensure invoices are raised at the earliest opportunity and that salesare taken in accordance with Siemens policy and appropriate accruals madeagainst cost of sales. In partnership with the Operational managementof the countries; understand, manage and control Unbilled Contract Stockto ensure that sales are taken on a timely basis and vulnerabilitieshighlighted. Produce the countries -into digital industries- managementaccounting pack including P&L accounts, stock reports and varianceanalysis and provide information to relevant managers to facilitategreater understanding of individual P&Ls Be a partner with Country Managers to provideaccurate monthly P&L forecasts. Assist in the formulation of the country strategiesfor the development and improvement of local procedures, working practicesand general efficiency. Authorizeapprove the purchase and payment ofoverhead costs charged to the region. Participate fully in group meetings to reviewprogress and communicate to the whole of Siemens Digital Industries andother parts of the Siemens group and also customers. Constantly review your role and suggest ongoingimprovements and new, more effective ways of meeting yourresponsibilities. The role will require good working relationshipswith your colleagues in the Commercial Department, the Region, and otherareas in the business as well as external parties includingcustomers. You will need to understand their requirements and ifappropriate advice how you can provide a service to support and meet theirneeds. You will be expected to work with your manager andcolleagues in understanding the objectives of the Finance Function andother areas of the business and to plan and prioritize your work and meetdeadlines determined both in the business and other areas of Siemens. You will be expected to identify and solve day today and longer-term problems you may meet and respond to and identify andprovide solutions to problems that the business encounters and which fallinto your area of expertise. Manage the Commercial Administrative Department inthe Region. You will liaise with other areas in Siemens asappropriate for specialist advice and to ensure adherence to Siemenscommercial procedures. A key element of the role will be to build strongand sustainable relationships with the commercial counterparts at thecustomer (in this case South America). Useyour skills to move the world forward. You are the right candidate for this position if the followingdescription fits you... 10 years of experience in a commercial environmentand ideally educated to degree level. International experience will be aplus. You must be experience and skills for act as alead, making decisions, be well organized and to be able to workmethodically and accurately under pressure. You must be able to manage, prioritize and allocatemultiple tasks efficiently. You will have a good knowledge of contracts andrelated commercial matters as you will be expected to provide advice tothe business in all commercial areas. Be able to build strong relationships with customers(internal and external) You must have expert skills in Spanish and English A good working knowledge of SAP would be a distinctadvantage for this role.
