Senior Software Developers collaborate with Business and Quality Analysts, Designers, Project Managers and more to design software solutions that will create meaningful change for our clients. They listen thoughtfully to understand the context of a business problem and write clean and iterative code to deliver a powerful end result whilst consistently advocating for better engineering practices. You will leverage deep technical knowledge to solve complex business problems and proactively assess your teams health, code quality and nonfunctional requirements. Job Responsibilities:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, design, and implement new features in existing application code.Develop and maintain application components and services that enhance the cloud readiness of applications.Apply your deep technical knowledge to choose appropriate technologies and design solutions that address clients challenges while adhering to technical constraints.Utilize continuous delivery practices to streamline the software delivery process and improve deployment speed.(Nice to have)Work within collaborative, product-focused teams to create innovative customer experiences and drive meaningful change for various clients.Embrace a hands-on coding approach while collaborating with other Developers, maintaining a strong connection to the technical aspects of the role.Job QualificationsTechnical SkillsStrong knowledge of Object-Oriented Design and Programming.Strong proficiency in modern C++ (standards C++11, C++14, C++17 ) and best practices. Good knowledge of C# is desirable.Proficient using the C++ Standard Library (STL) and Boost.Knowledge of parallel processing and multi-threading.Experience with REST, JSON, XML.Experience with building and hosting cloud applications on public cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).Familiarity with cloud-native architecture and design patterns, emphasizing cloud best practices.Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.Hands-on experience with continuous integration, test-driven development (TDD), and Agile methodologies.Professional SkillsStrong communication skills, enabling you to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams.Ability to influence technical decisions and advocate for technical excellence while remaining adaptable to change.A proactive and resilient approach to navigating ambiguity and solving challenges from multiple perspectives.Eagerness to mentor and support less experienced team members, sharing your technical expertise.Willingness to contribute to the development and execution of technical visions with a focus on delivering business value.If youre a motivated and skilled developer with a strong background in C++ and C# development, combined with experience in cloud application hosting, we invite you to apply for the Consultant Developer role.
