Overview Experienced professional to be responsible for engineering and design matters on projects. With corresponding background, experience, expertise, and skills. Highly capable to cope with managerial, technical and communication responsibilities. Including scope definition, planning, teams resourcing and scheduling of all engineering related activities. Providing technical leadership, integrating the disciplines work and resolving issues. Ensuring satisfaction of the project objectives with the quality expected, within the specified timeframe and budget, and meeting other project and company requirements. Main responsibilities Lead, manage and engage the engineering team to meet project objectives. Develop the engineering deliverables definition, work packages, achievable engineering schedule, engineering manpower plans and engineering systems setup plan. Manage scope of work, work sequencing, changes, interfaces with others, engineering schedule, budget, and design execution. Coordinate with other project organizations. Conduct client technical communications. Develop and implement engineering QAQC plan. Ensure that work quality is satisfactory and appropriate execution processes are followed. Approve engineering design and deliverables. Raise safety awareness and ensure the design for safety principles are applied to the project. BScBEng degree in an engineering discipline. Professional Engineer. 15 years minimum total experience. 12 years experience in multi-disciplinary major projects. 10 years experience in managing design engineering teams. Experienced in delivering relevant projects under collaborative intelligent 3D environment and methodologies. Knowledgeable of industry, regulatory standards, and design criteria in engineering disciplines. Comprehensive knowledge of project planning, controls and understanding of multi-discipline interdependencies. Ability to adapt to constant change and accommodate high pressure situations to support the team in meeting project objectives. Bilingual Spanish English.
